Been using Sno Seal since the 80s. I put it on any leather that I don’t want to dry out, including sheaths, holsters, and rifle slings. Sno Seal is some good stuff, used it for years on my boots. I always used Mink Oil on my leather boots. I used a product called Bistol when I was tele skiing with my leather Merril boots. The grout should be sealed with a penetrating/impregnating sealer (often called grout sealers), which does not contain silicone, as silicone can shorten the useful life of the sealer. Squeeze out your wax onto the silicone mat, estimate to be a circle the size of your seal. You can also use an assorted color palette or create your own marbled wax by mixing different colors together. I used to use mink oil on other leather goods to condition and clean. We recommend rubbing alcohol, acetone, or spray cleaner and a toothbrush to get your seal back to perfect condition.
